Exam timetable

Exam timetable out already.. SO FAST?
That's what I heard from my coursemates today. But this isn't surprising cos it's already Week 9.
The examination period is from 12 to 30 Sept... and my exam timetable is from 12 to 19 Sept
Oh my! 5 subjects in 8 days? Wow.. that's pretty fast but kinda shorter than the previous semester's exam period
This is my exam timetable (finalised):
Sept 12 (Sat), 9am - Pendidikan Moral
Sept 14 (Mon), 9am - Academic Writing
Sept 16 (Wed), 9am - English Morphology and Syntax
Sept 18 (Fri), 9am - Psycholinguitics
Sept 19 (Sat), 2pm - Journalism II
44 days from now to the first exam paper.
Last paper is 11 days before the CF 'We Are One' Camp 2009 & CGBC 'The Amazing Race Campus Camp Edition 2009' camp. Haven't decide which to go yet, but preferably the latter.
Gotta work hard from now onwards and hopefully can score good grades this time. May God showers me with His abundant blessings.

My own fault

Oh no! I have missed my first class of this semester! And it's totally all my own fault!
Until yesterday, I have not missed or skipped any lectures or tutorials of any subjects. Amazing, huh? But, I lost my 100% attendance today for not turning up for Mr Paul's tutorial class. Reason.. I overslept.. Haiz, most probably I slept late, around 3.30am today. I've set my alarm as usual, but I turned it off and continued to sleep. When I woke up, it's already 1.30pm. OMG! I'm extremely late.. but I fugured out that there's no point for me to go for class at that time.. So, I decided to skip the class and planned to do sumthing else(either working on my essay or doing revison for Moral midterm), but I'm too lazy to get up. As a result, back to dreamland again..
When I've enough rest, I decided to go for P.Moral lecture to get some tips from my lecturer Mr Muthu regardinfg the midterm exam this Sat. But when I checked my phone, there's an SMS from Betty. Dang! I even forgot abt my psycholinguistcs discussion at 2pm. ARGH! What's wrong with me? Nvr mind, I'll explain to her when I see her.
When I went to class, I looked tired cos I skipped breakfast and lunch. Then, I saw Betty and apologised to her for not coming for the discussion. Thought she's gonna scold me but she didn't. Turned out that Monica didn't come as well. Betty suggested to have the discussion tmr after the Academic Writing lecture.
No big deal if I skipped classes.. but seriously, I need to rectifiy my mistakes and organise my time well. BY God's grace, hopefully I'll be able to get rid of my bad habits. Time for reflection.

Speech errors

Speech errors are errors when we speak.

Spoonerism refers to exchange of initial consonant btwn words
Examples:
You have hissed all my mystery lectures.
(It should be: You have missed all my history lectures.)
You have tasted the whole worm.
(It should be: You have wasted the whole term.)
The Lord is shoving leopard to his flock.
(It should be: The Lord is loving shepherd to his flock.)

Slips of the tongue
Austrian psychiatrist Sigmund Freud cited two examples of slips of the tongue.
Example 1
A professor in his lecture said, "In the case of female genitals, in spite of many Versuchungen (temptation in German)... I beg your pardon, Versuche (experiment in German)"
Example 2
The president of the Austrian parliament opened a meeting with these words: "Gentlemen, I take notice that a full quorum of members is present and herewith declare the sitting closed."

Dell identified three lvls of slip of the tongue error:
1) Sound errors: Accidental interchanges of sounds btwn words
Example "snow flurries" might become "flow snurries"
2) Morpheme errors: Accidental interchanges of morphemes btwn words
Example "self-destruct instruction" might become "self-instruct destruction'
3) Word errors: Accidental interchanges of words
Example" Wriiting a letter to my mother" might become "Writing a mother to my letter" (funny)

2 down, 1 more to go & back to work

Feel a little relieved... there are 3 exams for me this week, and I've done 2 just now.. first is Journalism 2 midterm exam in the morning, then followed by Psycholinguistics quiz in the afternoon.. for me, I would rate both of the exams as moderate (not so easy, but not hard either)
For the past few days, I've been busy doing revision for both the subjects.. but dunno why, I couldn't concentrate on my studies.. my mind kept wandering around... doing sum unnecessary things like Facebook-ing, visiting the Warriors Forums, watching the final episode of TVB drama Your Class Or Mine (dunno why I love to watch it so much, I've watched the episode more than 10 times).. but nvr mind, I still managed to finish doing my revision in time, sumtimes burning the midnight oil, didn't go out to eat (ordered food delivery)
Today, I went to school as usual, going for Ms Tan JJ's journalism lecture.. the exam only started after she has finished teaching today's topic.. when I first receivd the question paper, I had a glance at the questions.. oh boy, some of the questions are easy while some are quite hard that I had to crack my head to think abt the answers.. anyway, I managed to finish within the allocated one hour and left 5 minutes b4 her lecture ended..
Phew.. one down, one more to go.. after having breakfast at Utar cafeteria, I joined my coursemates to study for psycholinguistics quiz at the courtyard (outside the library) in Block B.. but during the time of revision, we're being interrupted by a few students from other courses to help them to do surveys for their projects.. but kind enough, we juz did them anyway.. juz took a few minutes and there, DONE! Back to study.. we've stayed on until it's time for Mr Renu's 3-hour psycholingustics lecture (half an hour interval in btwn)
Mr Renu gave us the quiz to do first before he began his lecture.. it's a matching quiz where we have to match certain terms to the respective definitions (don't misunderstood though, it's not the kind of matching that kids did by drawing a line connecting the terms and definitions)... he mentioned that it's part of the final exam format, so he intended to help us familiarise ourselves with the format... we did a True-False quiz 4 weeks ago which is also part of the exam format.. supposed to have one more in week 13..that one will be writing short notes
Aaaahhhhh.. now that it's over.. I should concentrate on P.Moral midterm this Sat... besides that, I need to work out on my essay for Academic Writing after Mr Paul has apporeved my 2nd draft & gave me the green light to proceed with the essay.. also Morphology individual assignment.. it's supposed due next Mon but Mr Wong was kind enough to extend the due date for one more week.. there's still lots of assignments to do.. haiz.. perhaps I should manage my time wisely.

Let God decide...

In a dilemma now! Not sure which camp to go... CF camp or CGBC campus camp? Anyway, I leave it to God to decide.. cos both the camps draw my interest!
Just now, PC has made an annoucement regarding the CGBC campus camp. The venue is at Kem Sentosa, Chenderiang (one of National Service campsite)... date I've mentioned earlier (30 Sept - 2 Oct)... camp fees only 70 bucks (much cheaper than the CF camp).. and the best part of the camp is that it's done The Amazing Race style... A video clip was shown regarding the camp... I was in a total dilemma cos The Amazing Race is one of my favourite reality TV shows... detours, roadblocks, challenges, pitstops... all these are familiar if anyone has watched The Amazing Race. Not only me, Yik Kuan also face the same problem cos she's also a member of CGBC and also CF.
I couldn't decide which camp to attend cos both camps draw my interest... one camp features my favourite TV show, another one I've explained earlier (refer to my earlier post entitled 2 choose 1)... I talked to some ppl after the service regarding the problems I faced... and they gave me a valuable piece of advice: pray to God and let Him decide! I felt much relieved after voicing out my problems and hopefully God will give me a hint or clue on which camp I shud go.

Vulnerable and fragile

Our life is so vulnerable and fragile... we would be more likely fall sick or get involved in accidents if we don't take really good care of ourselves.
This afternoon, when I went to school for classes, I was shocked to hear that one of my coursemates, Grace (Yin Mun), fainted during the Academic Writing tutorial. Mr Paul was not around too when I arrived cos he sent the girl to hospital. From what I've heard, Grace was admitted to hosptial due to anemia. Then, Mr Paul returned and carried on with the class. He asked us to do some exercises in our handbooks and, in the process, he also told us some real life stories regarding ailments & accidents. He said, whenever the eyes get itchy, people would tend to rub their eyes and when the itch is gone, the eyes turn red. So scary when I heard, but I've experienced it before. He also mentioned that accidents happen if we are not careful. He cited the example of his cousin sister who involved in an accident due to her carelessness. She fell from her motorcycle and had a knock on her head (she was not wearing any helmets when the accident happened). As a result, she suffered a serious brain damage and she could not speak at all. I felt sorry for Mr Paul's cousin of what happened to her.
Accidents happen... and I've experienced the taste of it last year. That time, I was spending my 3-month sem break in Kampar. I fell from my bike while on the way home one day, returning from devotion with a few friends. I was riding a little too fast and I noticed a car coming out of one of the small lanes btwn rows of houses in Westlake. I tried to brake but couldn't stop in time and subsequently, I fell and suffered some minor injuries, my right leg being the most serious one. Haiz... I had to spend one week in my house until I was fully recovered. Thankfully, the 4 friends I used to hang out with (Eric, Calvin, Guan Heng & Oneway) were helpful enuf. Not only they helped to bandage my wounds, but they also bought me meals during my recovery period. Happy to have their support when I'm in trouble. Hopefully, I'll be able to repay their kindness.
I shud take good care of myself to prevent myself from getting involved in accidents or falling sick.

Kelvin Wong's birthday

Happy blessed birthday, Kelvin! May God bless u abundantly.

Today, as usual, I attended Kelvin's CG meeting at his house from 8-10pm. This time, we have a newcomer, Kyle, joining us (the regulars: Kelvin Wong, Calvin, Eric Ong, Sui Yen, Keat Meng, me, Isabelle, Melissa Joy & Shirley) in the CG. Edmund & Anil not among us cos Ed busy with his assignments & exams, just like all of us do, while Anil is in England visiting his frens.

The CG started off with an ice-breaking session by Sui Yen. Then, Kelvin took over to lead the worship with songs: My Life is in You, Above All & Jesus Lover of My Soul.

Then, time to resume our serving lessons... this week, we're on the 4th session, the servant's survival kit. As usual, the members took turns to share their thoughts thru'out the discussion. Then, we spent some time praying for each other before the birthday boy closed this week's session with a prayer.

*whinks* Did I juz mention the word birthday? Hahaha... actually Kelvin Wong's turning 21 today. So we celebrated his birthday after the CG was over. Keat Meng bought a lovely brithday juz for Kelvin.

Tada... Kelvin's birthday cake

Kelvin blowing the candles after making his birthday wish

Warriors and Seekers Forums

Woohoo! The Warriors and Seekers Forums are finally here!
Feel so happy abt it! Now I can interact with other Warriors fans worldwide.
Both the Warriors and Seekers novel series are written by 4 experienced writers (Cherith Baldry, Kate Cary, Victoria Holmes & Tui Sutherland) using the pen name of Erin Hunter to avoid confusing the readers of finding the books in different shelves. Warriors is abt cats while Seekers is abt bears.

Campus Overcomer Seminar 2009

This is the brochure of the event

Haiz.. looking at my life in Utar now, I find that I don't really organise my time well enough. Sumtimes, I spent too much time on things which are not important to my studies. Perhaps, I shud have better time management & also I shud set goals that are achieveable.
On Tuesday, a CF member by the name of Ray distributed some brochures on a seminar organised by CZONE, Praise Community Centre (PCC) & KTAR CF. It's the Campus Overcomer Seminar. It's at 8.30pm in TARCollege Kampar on July 16, 2009 (today) & Pastor Nicky Ling is the speaker for this seminar.
Hmm.... I'm wondering whether to attend this seminar at first coz usually I'll be attending church service at Campus Connect every Thursday.. furthermore, I'm on duty this week BUT I'm not in the worship team, neither am I operating the PA system or LCD nor welcoming ppl who come 4 the service.. guess what am I assigned to do this time? Help to clean up after the tea fellowship
Anyway, I've made up my mind to go for the seminar to take down sum useful tips on time management skills and methods to destress. I called PC to let her know that I might not be coming for service. I told her abt the seminar & wud cum over to help out if the seminar finished earlier.
After dinner, I headed to KTAR to attend this seminar... but the security guard didn't even know abt the seminar...nvr mind, i asked sum students who happened to be nearby (perhaps they juz finished class)... sum of them knew abt the seminar while sum are like blur blur when I asked them... anyway, they're helpful enough to tell me the venue for the seminar... headed to Block B thru a long corridor & managed to find the place.. registered myself... got a booklet on the seminar... went in n waited for the seminar to begin...
The event began with a presentation of a funny video clip that evolved around campus life & peer pressure... then, Pastor Nicky took over and share abt eustress dan distress, reasons why students feel stress & ways to overcome.. In btwn his sharing, Pastor Nicky called upon Bro Steven Lew to share his testimony. He also taught us that we shud manage our time well & set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic & Time-oriented) goals... After setting goals, we shud take action, then inspect and observe the situation and finally, elavuation (we celebrate if succeed, improve if fail or dissatsifactory).
At the end, there is a song presentation by the crew members, 3 of them are Nigerians who are currently pursiuing theie studies at University of Nottingham M'sia Campus. After that, Pastor Nicky ended the seminar with a prayer. All the participants gathered together for a brief photo-taking session. Then, refreshment time.
Yes, we can overcome our campus life!

I've learnt a lot from the seminar, and hopefully it wud help me to improve. Time for reflection.
n.b. I've taken the event as news for my mock newspaper project.

2 choose 1

Which camp shud I go? CGBC Campus Camp or CF Camp?
In a dilemma, I am forced to choose to attend one of the camps when Mr K made an announcement regarding the CF camp yesterday. It's from 30 Sept-3 Oct at Peace Haven, Genting. Oh no! i was like shocked to hear that the camp clashes with the CGBC Campus Camp which is from 30 Sept-2 Oct (venue not informed yet).

This is totally a different scenario from last yr.
In 2008, I attended both the CBGC camp & CF Heroes of Faith camp. The CBGC camp was From 24-26 Sept at Harvest Haven, Gopeng while the 3D2N Heroes camp was held 28 till 30 Sept.
Haiz... thought of going for both the camps for 2nd consecutive yr, but my hope was dashed this time. Nvr mind, I still have a choice.. either joining the CGBC camp or the CF camp... but I'd prefer the latter one.. coz sumthing's different this time. Why? Coz the CFs from all 4 Utar campuses wil b camping tgt 4 the 1st time... isn't that wonderful? Guess what, our campus CF is given the privilege to organise this camp, very fortunate, huh? I guess the reason behind this golden opportunity is probably of the status of being the main campus. Anyway, I'm too excited for the camp.. can't wait to go n have fellowship with CF members of other campuses.. hopefully, I'll be more sociable enough to get to know new frens.

Prayer answered

God has indeed answered our prayers after all. It didn't rain this time!!! Praise the Lord!
For the past few weeks, it has been raining esp on Tuesdays, causing difficulties for CF members to go attend the regular meetings. But for the whole day today (Tues), the sky is clear.. I din see any dark clouds at all. Yes, I know it! It's not gonna rain this time.
As usual, those who have transport of their own went to Wesley by themselves, while those who need transport waited 4 the van to cum pick 'em up. This time, nobody ordered any catered food compared to the past few weeks.... coz they had dinner b4 they came... This time, Calvin led the worship n after that, it's time for the talk on Apologetics by Dr Herbert Tan.... all the members listened attentively to what he said abt the topic. Later, Dr Herbert was presented with a souvenir (a CF T-shirt) by Eric Ong. A few announcements has been made by Eric & Mr K b4 this week's meeting came to an end.
CF meeting off next week... more time for members to work on their assignments, prepare for exams etc. blah blah blah!

What a relief

Fuh, finally... my 1st draft was accepted by Mr Paul after all.
In my earlier post (dated July 10), I stated that I was wondering whether Mr Paul would accept my 1st draft coz I din manage to show him the draft last week.
Well, I did it today. I went to school as usual. The first thing I did was not going straight to class, but to see Mr Paul. On the way to his office, I was wondering what's his reaction gonna be if I showed him the draft. I reached his office & to my luck, he was in his office. So I went in & showed him the draft. TO my surprise, he din get mad at me but kind-heartedly accepted my apology. He had a glance at my draft & told me that it was ok, juz need some improvements on it. He also said that he wanted to see my 2nd draft on Wed. Praise God! I thanked him & left. After leaving his office, I pumped my fists in the air to signal 'Yes, I've done it!' & headed to class.
Time to work on my 2nd draft coz I have onli 2 days' time to do... Apart from that, I have lotsa assignments to do as well.. 2 have to be handed in within the next few days (one tmr, another one 2 days later)... but I'm almost done with them.. ready to be handed in

My wish granted

Ahhh... finally I've got what I wanted.. a new camera phone
It's Sony Ericcson K770i
Previously, I was using Sony Ericsson h/p (J120i) also, but it was juz a phone with simple functions onli. I wanted to change my phone long time ago, preferably with camera function.
This morning, my parents came to visit me. And apart from bringing me a webcam & other necessary things, they also here to fulfil my wish. So, we went to Tesco to do some shopping. After having brunch there, we surveyed around Tesco to look for a suitable mobile phone. And we met with a Chinese guy named Calvin who showed us a few models of SE phones. This guy was really kind enough to explain everything we need to know abt the features & functions of the phones he showed us.
After looking at the few models Calvin recommended, I've made up my mind to buy the K770i model coz it has better features. And I bought the phone for abt RM500/=. Yay! Finally, I got wat I've wanted. Now I can take any interesting photos & it makes me more convenient to do my projects.

I've learnt a lesson

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVE WASTED MY CHANCE! Now Mr Paul is gonna be mad at me for not being able to show him the 1st draft of the essay for my assignment.

Today, after having lunch, I went to university at around 1.45pm coz members of my P.Moral group assignment wanted to meet me for a short discussion at 2.00pm. After they left for home, I proceeded to Block A to go for the "Festival of the Mind" exhibition. At the same time, my intention of going to the Heritage Building was to show Mr Paul, my lecturer for Academic Writing, the first draft of the compare-contrast essay writing assignment I've prepared. He said I have to show by this week coz next week he will onli entertain the 2nd draft. So, while on the way to his office on the 2nd floor, I bumped into some of my coursemates near the Heritage Hall. Some of them were queuing up to get the tickets of the talks they wanna attend. I stopped for a while to chat with them, and I got carried away from my purpose there. Noticing the time on my watch, it showed 2.10pm. My tutorial was at 2.30pm & it was in Block D. So I rushed to the venue ASAP w/out realising i've totally forgot abt the draft.

Dang! What could I b so forgetful? Winna, a coursemate of mine, told me dat Mr Paul has no classes today & he would leave anytime if there's nothing else he can do there. Hurriedly after the Morphology tutorial class, I quickened my steps to go to Block A again to meet him. But when I got there, I discovered that I was too late. His office door was locked & one of the staff there told me that he has gone back to Ipoh.

Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhh! I've missed the golden opportunity! Now I'm not quite sure what to do next... and i've no idea what's his reaction gonna be. Will Mr Paul accept my draft & apology if I were to show him next week? I can't answer this. Perhaps I have to bear the cosequences of my actions myself. I shouldn't be distracted so easily. Time to reflect on my mistakes. Maybe next time I should do whatever is priority first & seize every opportunity available.

MJ's memorial

When I heard abt the news of the death of King of Pop on June 25th, I felt heartbroken. He was a such talented singer & his dance moves really amazed me. I love his songs... It's kinda sad that he suddenly left the world juz like that.Anyway, a memorial was being held at the Staples Center in L.A. to pay tribute to the late pop king. Many famous celebrities attended the memorial ceremony, such as Mariah Carey, Magic Johnson, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah, Lionel Richie, Mike Tyson etc.
Among the performances highlighted from the memorial are:
A sharing by Brooke Shields, a very good friend of Jackson's who knew him since Michael was 13, abt memories of her spending time with him
Mariah teamed up with Trey Lorenz for a rousing duet of the Jackson 5 classic I'll Be There.
Queen Latifah recited Maya Angelou's poem We Had Him.
A pregnant Hudson gave an outstanding performance on one of Jackson's hit song Will U Be There.
Britain's Got Talent star, 12-yr-old Shaheen Jafargholi, amazed the crowd with his performance of Who Lovin' U.
Michael's brother, Jermaine, sang Michael's favourite song, Smile.
But none of the performances were able to steal the spotlight from Jackson's daughter, Paris (right), who confessed her love for her late father. This was what she said, "Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him — so much". She broke down in tears after saying those words.
So touching indeed, I feel like crying when Paris uttered those words.
RIP MJ & May Angels Look After You Always!
U will always on my mind & I will rmb u always!

Rainy days on tuesdays

I wonder why recently it always rains in Kampar esp. on Tuesdays, not any other days
For the past few weeks, it has been raining on Tuesdays... this really made me feel frustrated every time I wanna attend CF weekly meeting at Wesley Methdist Church (WMC) from 8-10pm
On the previous day (Tues), my lecture class was supposed to finish at 5.30pm.. but the lecturer has finished what he taught that day, so he allowed us to leave
Everyone started heading home & while on my way to get my bike, it was drizzling
Haiz.. it's raining AGAIN & I predicted that it would be raining heavier.. by the time i got home, as I expected, the rain became a heavy downpour
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! How to attend CF meeting if it rained so heavily... I prayed & hoped that the rain would be smaller
Around 7 sumthing, the rain wasn't as heavy as b4.. so I headed out 4 have dinner. While I was enjoying my dinner, the rain was slightly heavier but it din affect much either & I've arrived safely at WMC around 8.15pm.
The CF meeting took place as usual with Eric Ong leading the worship.. later all the CF members went into a bible study session in their respective CGs.. later Mr K did some sharing b4 the meeting was over & we also prayed to God that there will be no rain next Tuesday cos what's in store 4 the CF members next week is a talk on Apologetics by Dr Herbert Tan.. woohoo!
But sumthing strange always happens... the rain has stopped b4 the meeting came to an end.. not onli yesterday, but the previous few weeks as well
Wonder if God is showering His blessings unto us whenever we have CF every week or is He testing our passion for Him? I really have no idea abt this.

CGBC Bistro Nite

Wat an enjoyable nite I had during the CGBC Bistro Nite
It was on 6th July, 9pm onwards...
It was after my morphology presentation in the afternoon
Wat a tired day after the presentation.. so it's time to enjoy the nite
I went to CGBC a.k.a. Campus Connect as early as 8.30pm to help out & I dressed in the same outfit I wore for presentation (with an addition of a bow tie)... when I went there, I felt awkward a bit coz everyone else there was dressed casually.. it made me wonder if I shud go home to change.. some ppl said it's awkward, but some said I looked smart
Of coz, I planned to dressed smartly for the event b4 this
I was thinking abt being a waiter 4 the event.. but PC (Ping Chin) advised me that I shud be welcoming the guests rather than doing the serving cos she said I might make my outfit dirty if I'm not careful with the food & drinks...
But anyway, I'm fine with it & din insist on doing wat I wanted..
While I was welcoming those who came 4 the event, Irena, Eugene, Shuyi & Jialing will b the ones who are serving our 'customers'
Richard, Robert & the rest were in the kitchen, preparing the food & drinks ordered by our 'customers'.. anyway, as long as being able 2 be part of the ppl who serve, I'm fine with any position I was assigned
Many ppl turned up 4 the event... Calvin, Jensen, Joanne & her bf Daniel Ng, Daniel Chi, Alex.. there were too many ppl there (cant name 'em all, just name a few onli)... Yiling even brought along Wai Fong, Kwan Yi & Shao-Chin (my fellow coursemates) 2 the bistro.. but kinda disappointed coz the one I've invited was not there.. dunno who izit
Ev'ryone was enjoying themselves during the bistro... sum even took sum photos for memory.. kinda happy with the success of this event, since the last time the Campus Bistro was held was last yr
But the sad thing is that I've to leave early around 10.20pm (shortly after Yiling & her frens left) cos there was a discussion of the psychlinguistics group assignment at 10.30pm.. I wish I could stay a little bit longer
Anyway, it was a wonderful time to relax & take a short break from my busy schedule

Morphology presentation (dedicated to Michael Jackson) - the Birth of my blog

Oh yes, finally I have started my own blog! Previously, I don't have a blog, so it is a little hard to reflect on the life I've gone thru... now, I've started blogging.. this is suggested by Eric Ong, he said that I should open a blog to express my feelings & thoughts.. since he said that I'm better in writing than talking.. he noticed that I am able to express myself better thru this way since sumtimes it's hard for me to talk face-to-face with people whom I'm not familiar or close with.. I'm only comfortable talking to ppl who are close to me. Since it reflects happenings & events around me, so I named my blog A World of My Own. There, let the blog begins!
And for my first post, I'm gonna talk abt my Morpholgy presentation the previous day... Here it goes:
Phew... what a day... I've done my first presentation for this semester.. it's for the subject Morphology & Syntax
I was presenting the topic on word formation processes (not alone, but with Betty, another coursemate of mine)
Few days ago, both of us were busy preparing the slides for our presentation... we've spent lotsa time doing the preparation... had a few sessions of discussion
Betty even told me that our presentation was juz few days b4 the funeral of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson who died from cardiac arrest which means his blood circulation stops abruptly (many ppl mistaken dat he died from heart attack) on June 25th.. so we dedicated our presentation to the King of Pop & we dressed in black juz to pay tribute the one who sings until his death
His funeral is on July 7 but it's on the 8th of July according to Malaysian time
May the King of Pop rest in peace and M.A.L.A.Y.A. (May Angels Look After You Always), MJ
