Life is a race

Wow... what an enjoyable Amazing Race camp... I enjoyed the church camp organised by CGBC Campus Connect from 30 Sept until today... glad that I have made the right choice after all n have no regrets of choosing this camp over the CF camp.

"An exciting time of adventure, learning, being with friends and, most of all, being in the presence of God and to be ministered by Him.

It's important to note that the Bible often speaks of living the Christian life as if we were running a race. Following Jesus is clearly more than a leisurely stroll in the park! The issue here is not whether you will run the race. When you became His follower, you were put in the race. The question is not will you run, but how will you run. As a matter of fact, all of us - Christian or not, will need to run this race of life.

Let us run with discipline, endurance and attitude to win. Beside, we do not run alone. We are surrounded by friends and huge crowd of witnesses to cheer us on. God's strength and grace is upon us and we will do well in the race. Our hope is in Jesus, our Lord who had run and won the crown.

Be glad as we take on the challenge to run the race well that we may answer to God's call upon our life. In this Amazing Race, we have an eternal prize that will not fade away. Let us run with perseverance and keep our eyes upon Jesus, the One who began our faith and makes it complete and perfect."

Gained a lot of experience and invaluable lessons from the whole camp... the activities were quite fun and enjoyable esp the race on the first day (although I was the 1st one to get injured but it's just a small cut only la, not to worry)... great sharing by Bro Joseph Raj, the speaker of the camp... all his messages were related to the theme of the camp, The Amazing Race... during the camp, I couldn't hold on my tears sumtimes esp during worship sessions n wept but all the tears I've shed are for God.. so it's worthwhile

Here's the speaker... Bro Joseph Raj with his funny looks

Bro Joseph prayed for Sis Kaye Lynn (KLynn) & Sis Ping Chin (PC) for all their efforts in organising events & activities just for all members of CGBC Kampar. In the eyes of the members, these 2 wonderful sisters are like mothers to all of them. So I wanna express my appreciation by saying a Big Thank You to both KLynn & PC.

Editor's note: All the events & happenings throughout the camp will be shared in detail as well.

Return to Kampar safely around 3 in the afternoon.. now getting ready to go back hometown tmr morning... weeeeeeeeee... relax for 2 more week, then get ready for a brand new trimester.
