CF Finale at GKH

Grand Kampar Hotel

Had lots of fun during the last CF meeting at Grand Kampar Hotel (GKH) just now

Yesterday night was the last meeting dy ma..

so we decided to make it grand la..

by having the meeting at GKH.

not the usual place la (WMC)

Around 8pm, I went there by my bike..

found a parking spot nearby the hotel... nice
then, as I walked in.. I met sum of CF committees..

standing on the stairway la..
Renjie, Shu Ern n Sui Yen... welcoming guests

said hi to them la.. then go up to the place they told me

several members are there dy..

Kelvin, Kyle, Melissa, Ngee Derk, Jensen...

but most peeps not there yet lah

I dunno wat to do that time ma..

soon everyone settled down la.. the emcee for the event appeared

then Eric pass the time to Calvin n Jensen for ice breaking session

the crowd was divided into four grps la

F1 car, police car, ambulance and Harley Davidson

then hor... each grp send a representative
according to wat's required

everyone had lots of fun

then Kelvin & team led the worship session

it began with a song called I will follow Him
almost similar to DiGi song I will follow you
other songs included Everyday, Here I am to Worship and Still

after that, a video clip on activities thru'out the semester
everyone enjoyed watching it

Eric and Shirley... emcees for CF finale nite

then hor... Shirley appeared and she's also emcee for the night la
Eric said that the video clip was done by Shu
he came up with an idea la...

when Shu comes in, he asked us to clap hands and shout his name la
Eric also said ar.. Ms Cheng dressed very nice woh...
so when she stepped into the hall, we clapped hands also

but Shu is away from a moment

while Ms Cheng hasn't arrived yet

While waiting for them

Eric and Shirley asked members of the floor to share their thoughts la

among those shared were Florence, Dante, Aaron, Shu Ern, Renjie, Kelvin, Ah Derk, Calvin

Renjie said she's the oldest CF member

she has been in CF since she's in foundation

Calvin hor.. apart from introducing himself

he asked the audience (those who dunno onli)

guess how many races he has la

then he explains:

90% thought he's Malay..

nobody thought he's Chinese...

sum thought he's Indian..

one of his secondary school fren thought he's Bangla

one auntie thought he's Orang Asli

Kyle suggested he's Taliban

Ah Derk once even asked, "Ei.. that Calvin ar, is he Philippines ah?"

he's actually half Indian, half Chinese

the crowd was entertained by him very much la

in btwn the sharing time, Shu came back from outside

we did what Eric told us

and Shu thought we chase him away

actually we jus thank him for the awesome video

Ms Cheng n Mr K also arrived...

when Ms Cheng appeared, everyone amazed

wow... she looked dazzling that nite

Then after those peeps chosen by the MCs shared

Mr K, Ms Cheng n Mr Marn Foo shared their thoughts

they wanna look for CF 1st la.. but couldn't find it

where is the CF inquiry booth? they thought

rupa-rupanya it's under the staircase near the economy rice stall in Block C la

then Mr K said the CF directory booklet is ready..

all the details of members are in the booklet...

then he asked Wen Jie to bring sumthing that's familiar to most of us

the CF tree that we built during the first meeting

well, actually I wanna share also la.. but time didn't allow me to do so

anyway, I had to say thank u to Joshua Lim la

he's the one approached me when I visited the CF booth

if not, I wud not have experienced what I'm gone thru the precious n enjoyable moments I had in CF

then Mr Marn Foo said it's prize-giving session

first he mentioned 5 person didn't come CF only once this sem

Jensen, Kyle, Florence, Guan Heng n Kelvin

then he said there were 7 person who achieved 100% attendace this semester la

who are they? jeng jeng jeng

Mr Marn Foo said 2 of them had 100% attendance for 3 consecutive semesters

one of them is ME la.. woohoo!! the other being Renjie la

this sem and the previous one... it's true la

but the first sem I studied here, I missed a lot of CF meetings la

how could I achieved 100%, 50% pun tak sampai

I think Renjie has a better attendance than me la

anyway, since Mr Marn Foo said so, jus accept it lo..

received a prize la.. a Mickey Mouse cup set

Calvin, Chang En, Isabelle, Shu Ern, Shirley being the other 5

but Chang En didn't come this time woh

maybe he's busy gua...

then, everyone hungry dy... so we took sum grp photos first then we go enjoy the food prepared by the hotel

during makan time, members chat with each other la

then the committee had a short meeting

Eric closed the event with a prayer

then everyone started leaving for home

I went home too la

but sum peeps went CC play L4D woh

sumtimes she was called Jessica la..

the role she played in the skit on EM two weeks ago

but I prefer calling her by her real name la
